- This license includes generating vector embeddings and extracted text for search functionality (controllable per-file)
- You are responsible for content you share publicly or within your organizations
- Content deleted by you enters a 30-day grace period before permanent removal
5.2 Our Content
- Loop and its features remain our exclusive property
- Our trademarks, logos, and brand features are protected
- You may not use our brand assets without written permission
- System tags, templates, and collections provided by Loop are our property
6. AI and Data Processing
6.1 AI Usage
- AI features process content based on your explicit permissions (user-level, file-level, and organization-level controls)
- We do not train AI models on your content
- AI-generated content may require human review for accuracy
- You control AI access granularly: allow/disallow embeddings, analysis, generation, and tagging per file
6.2 Third-Party AI Services
We use the following AI providers under enterprise or API agreements:
- Google (Gemini) — Available for content generation and analysis (data retention policy)
- Anthropic (Claude) — Available for content generation and agent workflows (data retention policy)
- OpenAI — Available for content generation and embeddings (data retention policy)
Loop configures standard models using Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI. Customers can change their default models, or add their own API keys, in organization settings.
Your content is sent to these providers only when you invoke AI features. Providers process your content to fulfill your request under their standard commercial API terms, which prohibit training their models on API inputs; some providers may retain API inputs for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring — refer to each provider's data retention policy linked above for details. AI processing can be disabled at any time at the user, file, or organization level.
6.3 AI Agent System
- Agents execute within your organization's context and permissions
- Agent actions are logged in the audit trail
- Agents access only content permitted by your organization's visibility and permission settings
- Agents may store persistent memory about your preferences and interaction history within your organization's workspace
6.4 Beta Access and Quality Review
During our beta period, authorized Loop staff may review a sample of chat conversations, agent interactions, and usage logs to identify quality issues, improve AI outputs, and debug the platform. This access is:
- Limited to authorized Launch Engine employees under confidentiality obligations
- Used solely for product quality and safety purposes
- Not used to train AI models on your content
- Disclosed in our Privacy Policy and subject to the same data handling terms
We will provide notice and update these Terms when this practice changes as we exit beta.
7. Privacy and Security
Your use of Loop is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement security measures including:
- TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit (including WebSocket connections)
- AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive data at rest (OAuth tokens, secrets)
- SHA-256 hashing for API keys
- SOC 2-certified infrastructure (Convex, Vercel); Loop's own SOC 2 Type II attestation is in progress
- Role-based access control with organization and teamspace isolation
- Comprehensive audit logging across authentication, permission, and content events
- JWT-based authentication via WorkOS AuthKit with automatic session management
8. Third-Party Services
8.1 Integrations
- You may connect services including Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion
- These services are governed by their own terms
- We are not responsible for third-party service availability
- You must comply with third-party terms when using integrations
- Integration access can be controlled per-teamspace (inherit from org or restrict)
8.2 Infrastructure Providers
Our Service relies on:
- Vercel — Frontend hosting, edge delivery, and serverless functions
- WorkOS — Authentication, identity management, SSO, and SCIM provisioning
- Convex — Real-time database, file storage, vector database, and serverless backend
- Stripe — Payment processing (when applicable)
9. Payment Terms
9.1 Free Tier
- Basic features are available at no cost (personal workspace)
- Subject to usage limits and rate limiting
- May include Loop branding
9.2 Paid Plans (When Available)
- Subscription fees are billed in advance
- AI usage may be billed via a credit system — credits are consumed per AI operation based on model, token usage, and operation type. Credit balances, pack pricing, and per-operation rates are displayed in your account settings.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- If a credit-pack purchase is refunded in full, the AI credits granted by that purchase are reversed (partial refunds do not reverse granted credits)
- Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
- Enterprise features (SCIM provisioning, advanced integrations) require appropriate tier

Version History:
- v2.6 — October 12, 2026: Removed the named default model from the AI provider list (§6.2); Google (Gemini) is now listed like the other two providers. Added a sentence saying Loop configures standard models using Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI and that customers can change their default models or add their own API keys in organization settings (§6.2). Matches Privacy Policy v2.6
- v2.5 — July 23, 2026: Accuracy pass against code. Replaced the thin copyright bullets with a full DMCA §512 policy + Designated Copyright Agent (takedown-notice elements, counter-notification, repeat-infringer termination) (§10.1). Corrected the credit-refund term — credits are reversed only on a full refund, not any refund (§9.2). Replaced the unverifiable "150+ audit event types" claim with qualitative language and corrected "TLS 1.3" to "TLS 1.2+" (§7). Raised the minimum age to 16 (§3.1)
- v2.4 — July 2, 2026: Clarified third-party AI provider data handling (standard commercial API terms; no training on your content; limited safety/abuse retention per provider policy — §6.2), reframed SOC 2 as vendor-certified infrastructure (Convex, Vercel) with Loop's own SOC 2 Type II in progress (§7)
- v2.3 — May 8, 2026: Added beta quality review disclosure (§6.4), agent memory disclosure (§6.3), credit-based billing disclosure (§9.2)
- v2.2 — April 16, 2026: Corrected audit event count, version alignment with privacy policy
- v2.1 — April 1, 2026: AI provider data handling links, model name fix, email standardization
- v2.0 — March 10, 2026: Updated for WorkOS auth, AI provider accuracy, teamspace scoping, data deletion workflows
- v1.1 — September 18, 2025: Initial public terms
