What does the Writer agent do? Writer is an editing specialist — it edits for clarity, conciseness, structure, grammar, active voice, tone, and style consistency while preserving the author’s original voice and intent. Every edit is visible: tracked changes with before/after comparisons, a change log with category codes (G: grammar, C: clarity, X: conciseness, T: tone, S: structure) and a one-sentence rationale for each change, plus a word-count delta so you know exactly what was cut.
