## How is Writer different from Grammarly or a generic AI rewriter?

Writer distinguishes corrections (grammar-rule violations — it fixes these) from suggestions (style judgments — it flags these for your decision) and never silently rewrites meaning. It won’t change “some customers” to “most customers,” it flags factual claims that seem inconsistent rather than silently updating them, and if more than 40% of the words would change it asks whether you want a rewrite instead of an edit — preserving the line between improving your writing and replacing it.
